Since 1894, through world wars, Nat’l tragedies, every pandemic and The Great Depression college football was there to uplift the American psyche. Americans were proud and always kept the country moving forward. This virus has a 99.9 % recovery. This is all so unnecessary.

If people can’t do basic things like wearing a mask, and the T Admin never had a national strategy, we don’t deserve it

Jamie when will you see it doesn’t matter. The goalposts keep changing. Have you read mask guidelines. Once you pull them down their compromised. Touching the outside is a no no. Only certain kind protect you. The cloth masks don’t really work that well.

99.9% recovery? No counting potential long-term effects, even on young, healthy people...
But you’re right, this is unnecessary - too bad there’s not some national organization that could’ve provided nationwide leadership 7 months ago...

How about the deaths from cancer, car wrecks, etc... ? Should we just cancel all activities forever?

Larry, look at the replies. People who have lost friends and family to this, who will now have permanent heath effects from barely surviving this. As much as I enjoy football, this is bigger than that

Tyler I’m not discounting that. It sucks. However 60-80 thousand die from the flu every year and I don’t hear the same sympathy for those people. We have a handle on who this is affecting and it’s not high school or college kids. No one is not saying a covid death is tragic.

Heart disease kills around 600k per year, Cancer about 550-600k, accidents around 160k, chronic lower respiratory disease around 160k. What are we shutting down so no one dies from them? Mandating healthy foods and exercise? nope. Abolishing tobacco and alcohol? nope. #FARCE
