More seriously, I come from a long line of ppl who could be diagnosed ASD if they went to a doctor and tried hard enough

but weren't because ASD wasn't a thing ppl cared about during the Depression--they cared far more about food.

When you just have to focus on how to get things done, might be a positive trait. Like obese, asds victims of relative modern abundance?

We didn't always have cheap books and internet. Ppl had to memorize tons of data to survive. Modern data is abundant like modern food.
