#ECE pet peeve: Sink/float activities are actually not great for pre-k science! Buoyancy has to do with the density of objects vs. the density of water - it's not about shape, size, etc, and you can't predict if something will sink/float just by looking at it.

Sorry one more thing: Good science for pre-k has one simple idea that can be learned/observed. The lesson should be built around that idea - like, "animal babies often look like their parents". Or "many plants grow from seeds".
