Something important to keep in mind when understanding politics of impeachment: Trump has lower approval ratings today than Nixon had as impeachment was begun. And in 1973 Nixon had near unanimous support from GOP. All this deteriorated quickly as hearings exposed facts.

Nixon covered up a domestic break-in of the DNC and was forced to resign. Trump enjoyed the fruits of a foreign break-in of the DNC, then helped cover it up by obstructin' the investigation over 10 times. Now he's obstructin' Congress. The Constitution demands he be removed.

Increasingly the record shows that the scale of President Trump’s disregard for the Constitution is only matched by the brazenness with which he does so.

Trump has attacked Mueller, Democrats and the FBI on Twitter over 335 times in the last 5 months for protecting our Democracy. He has attacked Russia 0 times on Twitter for attacking our Democracy. Can any Republican tell me why this is ok? I'm curious!

There are at least THREE independent reasons to impeach Trump: 1. Obstruction of justice, detailed in the Mueller report 2. Felony campaign finance crimes, detailed by the Southern District of New York 3. Daily violations of the emoluments clause of the Constitution

If we weigh our decision about impeachment based merely on political outcomes, we have automatically established the power of politics is greater than the rule of law. We must examine all the evidence and let the law, not politics, guide our path forward.

Just Remember: Benghazi: 950 days, 0 indictments, 0 charges Mueller: 674 days, 37 indictments, 199 charges With 14 Investigations spawned and still ongoing. Found 11 instances of likely obstruction.

Trump’s entire presidency has been one massive impeachable offense. America is being held hostage by 20 GOP Senate cult members who stand in the way of ridding US of the most criminally corrupt President in our nation’s history.

If repeatedly asking your subordinates to commit crimes on your behalf doesn’t constitute an impeachable offense, nothing does.

There is one word to describe the GOP- corruption. And if you disagree, you’re either being conned or are the con artist.

So basically what happened is the Russians interfered w our election to help Trump. Trump met with them and asked for it publicly. He then LIED about it & FIRED THE HEAD OF THE FBI to stop the investigation, replaced the AG with a lackey and now we're watching that lackey speak.

If this report fully exonerated Trump then we would have the report and not sideshow Bob.
