They made a great move to creators a few years ago making their music free to use in content. This is a step in the opposite direction

From what I can understand, content creators that use Nintendo's music in a transformative nature (eg. gaming channels for backgrond music) are fine and we're still covered, but channels that solely reupload the music are what Nintendo have an issue with, hence this

That's being generous. Smash bros isn't the only game I want to listen to music from. There are loads of games not available in portable systems, and rarely any games have a sound test, and especially not one that'll play in sleep mode.
