I am Canadian. I am a nurse. I worked in the US for a year, had insurance. Once I had to see Dr. for known diagnosis,they ordered thousands of dollars for tests I did not need. the system the USA has bankrupted thousands every year. Many people I knew stayed in jobs for health insurance coverage reasons alone. People need to learn more about the freedom a single payer system would offer them. It isn't what you lose, but what you gain.
