@TeamYouTube Hi, why is it that my main channel has no monetisation symbols yet one of my old channels still has grey monetisation symbols by the videos? Both channels are below the threshold so shouldn’t have monetisation. But I’m wondering why one still has symbols?

Thanks for reaching out. Mind sharing the channel URLs & screenshots of the two channels you're referring to, showing the monetization symbols and we'll check on our end.

I understand that neither meets the requirement for partnership, however, I'm just puzzled as to why one has kept the symbol, its the same for my friend's channel as well. Thanks for the screenshots, the grey dollar icon shown on the side of the video means it's not monetizing. Here's our help center article on monetization icon to provide more info: https://yt.be/help/w59s . Hope this helps.

Ok thank you so why don’t I have one of these symbols next to the videos on my current channel? Or is it just a thing of some still have it and others don’t but it makes no difference?
