The size of the Habitable Zone for different stars does not change the number of planet that fit within this zone. However, smaller stars are more likely to have smaller Earth-sized planets. Unfortunately, those planets receive more harmful radiation. 🙁

Don't forget to stop by the MAST booth this morning. Let me show you exo.mast and the exoplanet table, or tell me how you might use cloud hosted TESS data, or tell me about queries you found difficult to make.

Hey ! Want to know what happens to planets when their stars leave the main sequence? Me too! Come find out how we're answering that question at my talk (327.07) at 11:10am today in room 315.

If you want to learn about K2 EXOPLANET OCCURRENCE RATES and our uniform K2 planet catalog, come check out my talk on Tuesday at 11:20am in room 315. This talk will act as a sequel to 's talk about a uniform K2 stellar catalog and evidence for a K2 radius gap.

Recently, there has been talk that the Late Heavy Bombardment hypothesis is incorrect, and therefore the Lunar Terminal Cataclysm and the Nice model are wrong. I would like to clarify the situation for all three of these hypotheses as I understand it. 1/16

It's day for Brendan Bowler, myself, and Eric Nielsen!! Check out our paper here: . In a few words, we find evidence for distinct formation channels for directly imaged brown dwarfs & giant planets by modeling their eccentricity distributions.

I made some slides for our grad student meeting on using GitHub + Build the Docs + Travis CI (minimally) + PyPI and good practices. It's by no means complete, but I thought I'd at least share as maybe a decent starter guide!
