Mine was when I was quite young, and hearing from the neighborhood kids about the “gold” game. Was able to finally get it, and it was worthy of the word of mouth hype... it was amazing to experience the exploration and discovery in the game, that would start 30+ years of Zelda.

Zelda II: Adventure of Link… actually my second NES cartridge back then (apart from the bundled SMB/Tetris/World Cup cart. Most memorable part? This game felt even more massive due to its cryptic world and difficulty.

My first game was Breath Of The Wild, which inspired me to fully complete every LOZ game that exists.pic.twitter.com/1ZzoQEqkA1

Unsure if my first Zelda game was Game & Watch (and I was far too young to understand how it worked) or OoT. My brothers used a computer simulator and I used to watch and then tried it myself. I loved Epona so much I used to imagine (cont.)

Link and her riding along when I sat in the car.

Forest Temple totally scared me, mostly because of the music - it still does today!
However, the program crashed so the first game I completed was Wind Waker! Absolutely loved it, but wondered why Zelda’s hair looked neon lol.

My first Zelda game I played was the NES original... And I hated it! "You must search for the levels?! Why not a map like in Mario Bros.? Where is the Sword!?" Yeah... I was. Very bad at it. After I played "Link's Awakening" I was in love with the series. xD

Seeing Link walk out of his house as soon as the OOT starts was so surreal to me, and for me I thought this game looked amazing at the time, I'll never forget this moment
