So I have a @YouTube video which I uploaded with no audio & used YouTube's built-in free music to put over the top of it.

This morning I get an email saying that I have a copyright infringement claim on the video with regard to the music. That's downright ridiculous.

So an artist can upload a track to
@YouTube, say it's free for usage & have it used on a load of videos, then change their mind & claim it back, allowing them to monetise it & put adverts on all the videos it was used on.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -

Just to confirm, have you tried disputing the claim? Also, here's more info on dispute a Content ID claim: https://goo.gl/p4untd

I don't care to dispute the claim, it's a legit claim. Disappointed that you've allowed this to happen though. I've just removed the music instead & won't use your tool to add music in future.
