This was a stupid mistake, but ultimately the point still stands - a Big Mac at no external cost is far cheaper than a healthy meal with many externalities built in

You've compared chalk with cheese. People don't need to eat steak and salad for a 'healthy meal' and they most certainly don't need to spend +++ time and money on a healthy meal. A microwavable cup of brown rice, 1 can of 4 bean mix, 1 pack of microwavable veg and 2 boiled eggs

Even if u were making ur own burger at home. Beef pattie grilled for 2 mins, into a wholegrain roll with pre-mixed salad. It's not just about 'cost and time'. It's about other behaviour change components, like motivation. i.e. WANTING to make a change and then actually doing it.
