Nah I reckon they're just desperate to get funding for some clinical trials

Please Gid, you cannot make a headline like that after reviewing one study! No ones disputing that study was ordinary. But you cannot make “clinical practice recommendations” based on your critique. By all means, critique a paper. But please stop there.

You’re as good as cherry picking the second your critique turns to “translation to practice” (your headline, and concluding remarks). Pick up any study that used similar recruitment strategies and you’ll have similar critique. That it’s about LC is separate critique.

Nutritional Hypocrite: A person that dismisses observational studies that support LCHF 4 diabetics whilst simultaneously promoting dietary guidelines that r built on observational studies.

First of all, participants' data were confirmed by HCPs. Second, this is type 1 diabetes - Nobody is saying LCDs cure it, but there is ample evidence that the fewer carbs one eats, the easier it is to control. I should know - I have T1D, I eat carbs, and I see the consequences.

Well, not selling insulin is detrimental to a pharmaceutical company's wallet. Better sell more insulin.

Are you a type 1 diabetic? Have you ever experienced the fear that you might not wake up the next morning? Have you dealt with the complications... No? Then STFU with your flip remarks.
