Thus, the dietary guidelines. There may be minor benefits in terms of specific metabolic markers from keto, IF, paleo etc, but if you're giving advice to a population it's all about the biggest bang for your buck

And, of course, the minor benefits that many talk about have not been well-demonstrated, often coming in small uncontrolled trials that compare a rigorous dietary regimen with no/inadequate treatment
