"What to do" is sitting there in the literature...and was on our tv screens on Monday night via @4corners with @kieron_rooney @mmoore50 @janemartinopc ....but did we all miss the common denominator...
But...they're an excellent benchmark. It doesn't mean you can't do something different ever, but for the vast majority of scenarios they provide a quick method of putting together a mostly healthy diet

What do you mean by "healthy diet"? And I don't mean what foods (I suppose I can look at the ADG for that). I mean what is this "healthy diet" doing for us? And how do we know?

When I was in NZ it was pointed out to me that the Maori had no diet-related chronic disease prior to colonization. Also, African-Americans re: slavery, etc. etc. etc.
