I would argue no, it's quite well supported by international evidence and whilst certainly not a 'cure' for obesity, will pave the way - and help fund - further prevention efforts
But that's not the aim at all. No one thinks we're going to cure obesity by removing SSBs from hospitals

Okay, so again, what's the point? I'm not opposed to it, but what *is* the point?

Part of a broader effort to reduce the intake of SSBs. Can't advocate for sugar taxes or reduced intake of sugary beverages if we're selling them by the bucket just outside ED!
