I don't think I saw that one! That being said, I do think that this particular example is about Pete Evans/celebrity culture in general. There may be issues with the guidelines, but the things that he is saying are pretty vastly wrong

Pete Evans is in fact not far wrong at all. "Celebrity" like Gwyneth, different story & is not in the "same boat" as Pete. Pete's accidental contribution to public health has likely been positive. Whichever the case "the ADG are not the platform to argue against the Petes"

Celebrity nutritionists are response to failure of gov. to provide trustworthy nutrition info. First DGA/ADG based on "best guesses" that subsequent science has not confirmed (except in studies that follow white, educated, healthy eaters, i.e. people who would be healthy anyway).
