Honestly, I'd be very surprised. It's not necessarily that "doing different" is more expensive, but it often costs a lot to shift attitudes and culture
We might begin with a critical cultural the history of the guidelines before investing any more in a failed paradigm. The "science" part of dietary guidance is but a small part of the politics, class & racial issues, etc.
