I probably wouldn't include experienced clinical critiques of guidelines as "most people" though. Every fitness/wellness blog in the world rubbishes dietary guidelines while chugging totally unevidenced bulletproof coffee and kale smoothies
That's a completely different "critique" though - why even give that extreme "air time" - and to pitch the ADG as an absolute piece of infallible brilliance as the reason "others are wrong" is kind of hypocritical?
I'll just slip in too....the food industry (and the DAA) love the "Pete Evanzes" bc it takes our focus to everywhere except the real problem - food industry power over policy, practice, evidence - and for the DAA...
