Well if he says they're the same it's got to be true! The point is "almost exactly the same" means nothing whatsoever as far as biochemistry is concerned. O2 is oxygen and fine but 03 is ozone and can kill you. They're "almost exactly the same"
Which is why I switched to enantiomers. Because they are literally identical molecules from the same "class", just flipped. And yet can exhibit enormously different biochemistry
