Does this "40% reduction" in germ cells translate to human fertility? Does it mean anything at all to pregnant women? Probably not
The recommendations are already "take as little as possible" for virtually all drugs, and paracetamol is the last of the things you can take for pain whilst pregnant
If we get rid of paracetamol, we're saying that women should go for 9 difficult months with no medicinal pain management whatsoever, which sounds wildly unreasonable
It just looks like yet another study that has virtually no relevance to people's lives being over-hyped into a terrifying pronouncement by the press ping @DrJenGunter
