i think the public belief of 'artificial sweeteners are killing you' is about cancer and stuff, not weight gain?

Well, there's also no evidence they cause cancer! But I find it vacillates between diabetes and cancer in terms of what's killing you

Haha well there's been a few epidemiological studies in the past year or so about the proposed diabetes/sweetener link which is where this piece came from!
