Small print is *so* weird. It is literally designed not to be seen, but also to get the writer out of trouble by pretending to inform people. "I'm poisoned!" "Ah, but you didn't see THE TINY WARNING? Too bad!" I want to do a deep dive--who came up with it? Why do we honor it?

Fun fact: small print in Australia is only honored to a 'reasonable' extent My brother successfully sued American Airlines because they hid a clause in a 250 page attachment to the booking rules. The judge ruled that it wasn't reasonable to expect someone to read it all
