Man, I hate it when people recommend supplements with an evidence base in a really specific disorder as if they were good for overall health
For example: milk thistle. There's ~very low quality~ evidence that it may be effective to treat liver cirrhosis

So...yeh. Milk thistle is probably useless. But it's especially useless for healthy people because there's no evidence whatsoever that it'll help unless you're already sick
