Interesting! I've had a few family members do a 'lactose-intolerance' test with their gastros, is this not a thing? I can't remember exactly what it was, but I think it had to do with measuring gas in the bowel after eating lactose

@DeiseDietitian I think it’s a much more specialist (set of tests) inc breath test So different to the quack stuff being called out today. Anyone able to answer “the man from down under” better? -
Agree lactose breath testing done under the supervision of a gastroenterologist is a totally separate thing to the likes of the widely available IgG intolerance tests for which there is no proven role.
