Yeh I was trying to strike a balance between "Red Bull probably isn't going to kill you" and "energy drinks are completely harmless". Might add a paragraph in there, but it's already 25% longer than most of my blogs so I don't really want to

No caffeine? Blasphemous. But other than that I agree with all of the above. Though I take in extra caffeine on non-gym days.

Did you know that for people 13-17 the biggest contribution of caffeine is soda (77%) then tea (52%) then coffee (26%) then energy drink (10%). The total caffeine consumed per day is 66mg, which is under the 100mg/day limit for ppl under 18 (American Academy of Pediatrics)

Here's my fav caffeine study in the world: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0278691513007175 … . Caffeine by age group and by source fm over 43,000 ppl in the US

OH MAN I could rant all day about energy shots, I don't like them for anyone bc it's too much caffeine at once. All caffeine should be sipped slowly, like it's not coffee.
-
you know we're weeks away from energy drink enemas becoming a thing.
