Lol getting me to work on my honeymoon. Basically most dietary stuff is based on epi studies because RCTs are damn hard to run in this space
PURE is special only because it is worldwide and broad in scope. Otherwise, it really just confirmed what we already knew
Processed food=bad. Fruit/veg=good. Home-cooked as much as possible. This is decades-old advice
I'm not so averse to guidelines, if only because health literacy is so low in many places, but they aren't perfect
I still think "eat food, not too much, mostly plants" is the best dietary advice I've ever heard
