If this were true, MMR would be rising the world over - in fact, the US is behind many other countries in terms of maternal age

More likely it is a combination of maternal age, rising inequality, poor coverage, and socio-demographic factors. in particular obesity

I'd also hazard a guess that things like Texas' increasingly low rates of immunization play a role in poor MMR rates

Mmmm, but even with a very high estimate of underreporting - let's say 40% - the US still does very poorly
