Has anyone else noticed that those who demand that we use their honorifics (i.e. Dr. or Prof.) instead of their names are often jerks?
I think it's because people who need their honorifics are the ones who are insecure about their positions

Same with letters after names. My boss has an MBBS, MD, PhD, fellowships, professorships, etc etc and he just signs off with his name

It seems like males by default are addressed by creds, I'm often called "Miss" or "Mrs" which I often do not respond to unconsciously
