I love the picture, buuuut my worldview is not based on what is evident, not what can be "accommodated."
You don't consider the historical narrative of Genesis as evidence? Newton and Kepler did. Be like them! Glad you like the drawing!
Newton was a genius nutcase.not sure about Kepler.but anyhow they lived in an age of religious conformity.use modern examples of scientists.
Jason Lisle, Andrew Snelling, Russell Humphreys. Fact: "religious conformity" is the *only* reason adherence to Darwinism is so monolithic.
I have a question: what evidence, if presented, would convince you of evolution?
None. This is where the difference between empirical science & forensic/origin science must be understood. These are HISTORIC propositions.
They're based on axioms that are, by definition, not subject to testing. So: imagine you demonstrated every step in Darwinian evolution...
…documenting every base pair nutation necessary, cataloging every transitional form. Does that prove Darwinism happened, or it COULD happen?
Could, of course. In which case, I would *still* believe in special creation per Genesis, because the eyewitness account is a tiebreaker.
I love living in a world where people can discard the last 250 years of evidence happily but accept without question a 2000yo fable as truth
