These are extra suicides. The baseline suicide rate applies to Chantix users as well.

The unreported cases? Nobody knows, The real problem with case reports. We know real number is higher, but not how much.

This is really not hard. Chantix is taken for a short period. It's not about people who commit suicide 5 years later.

How do you know? Those are just reports of suicide at some point after taking Chantix.

And even so, it's statistically IMPOSSIBLE that ALL of those were caused by the drug, unless the risk is 99+%

Because there is a background rate. There will be suicides in a drug that has no impact on suicide rates.
