Its more than just a chemical. Hydrogen in stars communicates with the hydrogen in our oceans, from miles away.

Again; you can ascribe any other qualities you like to it but it remains ALSO a chemical as well.

If I cover my shoes in glitter, they remain shoes. Similar situation.

Does the glitter keep you from touching the outside?

You're not getting it. Hydrogen is ALSO a chemical. Anything that forms chemical bonds is a chemical.

No you are not getting it. Do you not understand that even with the same chemicals many things can be formed?

Yes and as long as they form chemical bonds they are also chemicals. That's how we define chemicals.

So you agree you can have a group of chemicals arranged in a sphere that will separate the outside from the inside?

Now imagine a cell, that has a small entrance that only allows a small group of water chemicals inside. ok?

That's not how cells work, let's say a balloon instead.

Ok a balloon, a cell still only lets in certain groups. the cell does not recognize long chains of water & keeps it out!
