@littlepowder Well to be fair there is very mixed evidence regarding the cost-effectiveness of HPV vaccination. Definitely safe/effective.
@Mooselet That was the NHMRC estimate. Pap smears are v. cheap, the vaccine was initially $500 per person reduced to unspecified amount.

@GidMK Pap smears, while excellent, do not prevent HPV infection. Vax does. Prevention better than treatment, even early stage. -
