The unanswered question is what is the rate of underdiagnosis? Three fold is roughly what it was in the 1st wave. Anecdotal, but I know of two people diagnosed by chance from routine testing in an ED. Were there because of an injury. No symptoms. And nothing like a factor of 3. The Kirby study was done when access to testing was restricted; NSW has seen well over 100K tests a day, and basically about 10% of the population is being tested a week.
