Outdoors is very low risk. Take care, obey the rules, but ignore the shaming of people who are literally doing a safe thing for recreationhttps://twitter.com/adamseconomics/status/1436537623804211201 …

🚨 BREAKING 🚨 UNBELIEVABLE SCENES coming from Bondi Beach in Sydney! There are HUNDREDS if not more than a THOUSAND people at the beach at a time when COVID-19 is the biggest public health crisis since 1918! What about the cases in Australia traced to "fleeting contact" outdoors? Genuinely asking, as that has me terrified

Low risk is not no risk, but it's far less common than indoors

If we don’t get better vaccines, I don’t see how urban areas will maintain their density in current form. I am not sure we could ever improve ventilation enough on mass transit to make it low risk. Perhaps if there are advances in Far-UVC.

Natural infection provides robust protection especially combined with vaccine. We live with some amount of risk every single day if our lives. We will ALL eventually be exposed to it in the next few years, sorry to burst your bubble ;)

It's not low risk when these people congregate using toilets, waiting for coffee or ice cream or using public transport
