People say that they've "done their research" as a reason not to get vaccinated, but every scientist I know who works in vaccine or any other area of medical research has been immunized against COVID-19

A friend of a friend on Facebook said they had done their own ‘research’ on vaccines. I asked about their dataset, sample size, how they analysed it, rigour… just the basics of research. They blocked me :)

I'd be content if their research was on the level acceptable for a HS research paper, but most of the time when the claim is made they just firehose out links to studies they haven't read with titles that seem to make their argument about vaccine shedding or whatever, but don't.
