I always find people accusing me of being paid by pharmaceutical companies to tweet stuff they don't like quite funny Which is more likely - a vast, international conspiracy or that someone on the internet disagrees with you?

I guess that CAM guys like Dr Oz, Mercola or Goop have bigger social media budgets and much more freedom (less regulation) than pharmacos. You might have much better chances to get sponsored by them rather than by big pharma.

To be fair your positions are comfortable ones. How free are you to speak truth that is outside the government/media narrative. You are a govt employee after all.

The government narrative on ivermectin is "ignore the politicians spreading false information about it, we need their votes". The Australian has never met an anti science narrative it didn't like.
