The dominant early treatment protocol of 'Do nothing' in the critical first week of viral replication has likely killed quite a large number of people too. If it turns out to have a mild benefit, we should immediately make it accessible. 'Do Nothing' as default is crazy.

How about "only administer in the context of a rigorous pre-registered trial"? It is not like the CFR of hospitalised covid patients is 100%.

If you have parasites that are effectively treated by IV the removal of that complication is possibly helpful. IV at a safe dose even with Zn does not move the CV19 needle. Vaccination is best. Some will need monoclonal antibodies if they get infected before the vaccine works.

"If you have parasites that are effectively treated by IV the removal of that complication is possibly helpful." Have any of the big IVM studies attempted to control for presence/absence of parasites?
