Someone recently said that I'm treating the whole ivermectin a bit like an academic exercise To be honest, that's kind of true Every time I emotionally engage with the whole thing, I just end up yelling. A lot of rage

That's literally WHY WE DO CLINICAL TRIALS. TO FIND OUT IF SOMETHING WORKS OR NOT Ugh. See? Yelling again. Back to treating this more academically I guess

I mean, I deeply, deeply hope that ivermectin works, but it really doesn't look like it does. Because a) that'd be fantastic and b) because otherwise we've failed SO BADLY

'cause ivermectin is automagical!

More importantly, every single intervention has an opportunity cost- all those resources could be applied elsewhere. Especially important when so many systems are massively overburdened. -
And since most people assume that there is only one solution to any complex problem, we now have many people going down a path that leads nowhere and double down on it.

If you really wanted to *do* something, maybe eating an apple a day would have been better against COVID. Since it keeps the doctor away, and fibers and stuff? Sounds better than
#Ivermectine, judging from your close scrutiny.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

People are unable to imagine the infinity of somethings out there.

There are SO MANY drugs that have a very good side-effect profile that we haven't yet tried for covid. Just give them all and see what might work!!!
