Oh also, people keep saying "but we had to do SOMETHING" and I'm just like...no you didn't? There are hundreds of *somethings* you could do, most of them would be harmful, how do you reach into that bag and pick out ivermectin as opposed to anything else?

That's literally WHY WE DO CLINICAL TRIALS. TO FIND OUT IF SOMETHING WORKS OR NOT Ugh. See? Yelling again. Back to treating this more academically I guess

I mean, I deeply, deeply hope that ivermectin works, but it really doesn't look like it does. Because a) that'd be fantastic and b) because otherwise we've failed SO BADLY
