Not at all. It is literally in the IOC rules and judgements - the concern is entirely about what is fair in sport. If no one had an advantage, no one would ever win

It's considered unfair because it removes the category boundary and defeats the point of having categorisation in the first place.

If Mike Tyson had identified as a lightweight boxer and competed against smaller guys would that be a fair or unfair advantage? This why we have protected categories in sports. Any advantage that puts a competitor outside the category is unfair. It's not that hard to understand.
