Or a reflection of how few of us are able to get vaccinated. The good news from other countries is the vaccines do seem to still be working well to protect against Delta.
Really needs the status of those that are also not in hospital to understand this better. May not change conclusions, but hopefully better data will be available in the future for the full population of cases with consideration of age and other health condition biases.

At best, this might be considered a sample. But in no way is it representative of an entire population, given that a mere 17% of Australians are fully vaccinated.
