Minor tweaks causing findings to change doesn't fill me with confidence. We were taught to conduct sensitivity analyses in grad school.

Valid point. isn't it the same with vaccines. Would Love to understand the allowed induction done in the vaccine studies. first Pfizer study. 2 groups, each around 14000. Res.: placebo 8 got covid, vaccinated 1 got covid, 95% efficacy. 28000 people! At the end, 9 people decide.

Isn’t this why sensitivity analyses are done? In this case if minor tweaks see-saw conclusions doesn’t that show that even if it’s a positive effect it’s only a small one?
