Anecdotal, but still quite reassuring - at a party with 30 attendees and a superspreading event, 6 people didn't get COVID. All of them were vaccinated, all 24 of the people who got sick were unvaccinatedhttps://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-06-28/vaccinated-attendees-west-hoxton-birthday-party-avoid-covid-19/100249612 …

Anecdotally that secorandary attack rate is the opposite of reassuring

There was more than 30 attendees and more than 6 that didn't get Covid. The article even refers to 1 partially vaccinated worker who also didn't get it on top of the 6. It's a great news story about vaccines, but the inexactness is annoying.

I agree, sloppy reporting. It's almost as if some journalists can't be bothered with accuracy. So, all we can safely infer is that many (or all) unvaccinated attendees, but zero (or few) vaccinated ones, got infected.

What happened the other week when 42 people died in a week from the delta variant, 20 unvaccinated, 7 with one jab, no mention of the other 15, oh yes they had both jabs !

        Quickly calculating a P value I get a P value far less than .00001.
