The vast outrage over the "unfairness" of a transgender athlete competing at the Olympics makes very little sense when you consider that; a) she is ranked 4th b) she is the first trans athlete to compete at the Olympics EVER
He's making the point that gender is the easiest delineator for elite sport is gender, which I agree with, but the argument that this means we shouldn't do it differently is thin and not very persuading Easy doesn't mean correct!

Have u read the full thread & article? He is not an expert who considers what it easy rather facts & realities. Regardless of testosterone lowering, someone born male has eg larger lungs, heart and wider shoulders to name a few advantages, put that against a woman in 200m fly?

I understand that there are a lot of negative effects of androgen loss on biologically male bodies but I'm not convinced that someone born male has no advantage from a male brain development pov but also physical structure. Especially when it comes to strength. Contd.
