I do so much non-evidenced base health stuff for myself in my own life but somehow haven't created a religion out of it and don't rage at anyone on social media who notes the lack of evidence for it. I'm beginning to doubt the existence of my Y chromosome.

But it does interfere with Coumadin right? That’s what confused me by bioavailability of the curcuminoids is almost 0 no?

You’d have to take a lot of turmeric to get that effect. The curcuminoids affect some CYPs and I think have some direct inhibition of platelet aggregation but the doses to get to that would be way beyond food intake or even most supplements. Not sure of many (or any) human cases

I don't know anything about toxicity, but I do remember that an active dose of curcumin is around 0.4-1kg of turmeric a day. Presumably at that level of intake there are several issues
