Organic actually use more (organic) pesticides and fertiliser inputs, produce more runoff waste, and are less efficient at producing food (which means more marginal land has to be converted to cropping to get the same output). It’s not clear at all that organic is better.

At the same time, the organic chickens where I live are a different breed and actually taste better than the bland chickens with giant dry breasts.

How is organic better for the environment? As I understand, organic farming produces less yield per land area => more disruption to natural life from “clearing” lands for crops. (This is supported by various studies AFAIK)
