In the second scenario, people have aggregated bizarre and nonsensical arguments into an impenetrable morass of vague thinking that supposedly means something - this is why I say it's like a conspiracy theory

And much of the argument for a lab leak really does resemble a conspiracy theory, with people saying that Chinese researchers fabricated decades of data and then deleted records and lied to the WHO, while the government covered for them Possible, perhaps, but still...

How is it the least likely? 1 Wuhan has an advanced virology lab 2 China has low covid numbers 3 an activated anything, should incorporate a deactivation method (think Jurassic Park and Lysine deficiency) 4 activated virus is not weaponry exclusive 5 emergency hospital builds

This all points to china knowing much more about what had happened early on, knows how to contain it much better, and them knowing how terrible this could get long before the pandemic was really underway, they built two hospitals in 2 weeks.
