Its simple. If they don't work, risk compensation does everything you need. You don't need to cause harm directly, to cause harm.

I reckon this means that you have evidence (not just anecdotal one) that masks cause harm indireclty through risk compensation. I mean, you are not saying that masks *could* cause harm indireclty; you are saying that they *do*. Do you mind sharing that evidence?
