And back in January when they claimed that the lockdown wasn’t strict enough to bring R below one, nobody baited an eyelid. You had people on question time complaining that people weren’t taking the LD seriously because they were going to the supermarket!

people like Heneghan, Sikora and Gupta have basically become personas non grata but those who predicted that school reopenings would be a disaster are still on the telly every other day!

All three of those people have been quoted in major international several times in the last month. They've all been on TV as well

Not as much as the other side of the debate. Not even close. And their viewpoints have been challenged and scorned far more.

Can you point me to a single example where someone has brought up, say, Gupta's confident prediction that we had reached herd immunity and the pandemic would be over shortly made in June 2020? Would love to see it

That interview does not appear to have asked about Guptas claim that the country had reached herd immunity by June 2020 and that there would be no second wave

it IS however an interview where her previous stances were challenged in the abstract and she faced criticism, which you said had not happened!

I suppose you could argue that it concerned her predictions about a circuit breaker, although I'm not sure the interview really discussed her predictions as such. Seemed more an argument about whether lockdowns have worked no?

And we’re back to the feckless arguments about lockdowns working or not. Probably makes sense considering certain nations approach.
