No specific comment on anyone, but I do find it quite funny how so many people think that calling someone a "communist" is insulting Trust me, most communists find it to be more of a compliment

It probably won't take long before this tweet is weaponized by right-wing Covid denialists in the United States, where the word "socialism" is still equated with Stalinism by a good chunk of the population, particularly those indoctrinated as children with Cold War mythology.

I guess you want to distinguish between social Policy and socialism. One requires the means of production in hands of the workers. The Former describes social measures such as health Care. Conflatong the two is what is problematic.

Additionally, conflating totalitarianism/authoritarianism with only 1 of the political extremes is not great.
